Franklin County Government

Franklin County The County government is dedicated to providing these services through the efficient and effective use of the County's available resources in an honest, open, and caring manner.

Antrim Township  Antrim Township is a Municipal Government located in Franklin County, South-Central Pennsylvania. The Township insignia depicts the Science of Agriculture, the Brown’s Mill one-room school (now serving as a museum in the village of Kauffman Station) and Martin's Mill Bridge (a covered wooden bridge that was built in 1849)

Green Township  Greene Township, established in 1788, lies on the northeast side of the Borough of Chambersburg, the seat of Franklin County.  The Township is named after Nathaniel Greene, a prominent General who served during the Revolutionary War.

Borough of Waynesboro  Waynesboro Is situated in the southern part of Franklin County, Pennsylvania, about 2 miles north of the Mason And Dixon Line. The community, with a current population of 9,578 (1990) had its beginnings about 1749, when John Wallace , a Scotsman, settled by a spring located a few hundred yards west of the Antietam Creek (East Branch).

South Middleton Township  South Middleton Township has approximately 51.6 square miles, consists of 103.61 Township road miles and has a population of approximately 12,939. It was established in 1810 when it was divided from the area known as Middleton.
